Repeating earring infections!?

OMG! i keep getting an earring infection over and over again! it will be there for a week then stop for a couple day and repeat that patter for like two months now. i have had it peirced for like 6 months now so whats the gosh darn problem!! it is a cartalidge peircing and i know those are hard to keep good but i cant hamdle infection after infection! ive tried plastic, silver, and gold studs and hoops! whats wrong!!! how can i treat an infection. BTW please dont common if your just gunna tell me to see a doctor or take it out. those actions will be reporsted, sorry but i need real help!
