What kind of lizard do i have?

It is literature brown, with a tan belly. It looks like a snake but has four legal(uses them to). Its at least 12in long (mostly the tail? Has a back and white patter on the side and a few red dot like things on the top.it also has a fork tongue. Most of the time it only uses its front legs. Their Haha been no harm to the lizard. Ive been feeding it crickets and mealworms(from petsmart).
