Wear converses to prom?

I have a short black dress with a pink and black lace patter at the top and i dont want to wear heels because im going to dance my little heart out. So i thought about wearing converses. The ones i have are low tops and the all black or i have a pair of black and whites. Should i wear converses and of so which ones?
