Would you be interested in a guy with severe social anxiety?

I'm a great person,but I have really bad social anxiety. And no one has the interest or patience to get to know me and wait for me to come out of my shell. I'm a guy and 16. Is everyone that way toward people with SA or is the mysteriousness a challenge to some?
